Imam Hassan al-Askari (A.S), introduced the savior of humanity

(imam mahdi (a.s)

Imam Hassan al-Askari (A.S) has said: "There are two characteristics, which surpass all others: having faith in Allah, and benefiting one's brothers (in faith)."

One of the major responsibilities of Imam Hassan al-Askari (A.S), for which he endeavored earnestly, was to introduce the Imam after him to the Shiites and to inform them of the next Imam's occultation. At the time, the Abbasid dynasty, having had heard the words of the previous Imams (A.S) and those of Prophets' (A.S. about the savior that would be born to Imam Hassan al-Askari (A.S), were in close watch of Imam Hassan's (A.S) residency to make sure he would not have a son. Thereupon, Imam Hassan al-Askari (A.S) had to hide his son from the guards sent by the government and in that manner save his son's life. After the martyrdom of Imam Hassan al-Askari (A.S), Imam Mahdi (A.S) went into the periods of his short and long occultation, whereupon most Shiites were deprived from seeing their Imam. Upon this matter, at the time of Imam al-Askari (A.S) it was necessary to introduce Imam Mahdi (A.S) to certain Shiites, and clarify his processes of occultation. Many narrations have been recorded on this matter, but in this excerpt we will refer to only one 

Ahmad ibn Is'haq, one of the reliable companions of Imam Hassan al-Askari (A.S), has narrated: "In one of my visits to the Imam, I had intended to ask about his successor. Yet before I had spoken, the Imam (A.S) said: 'O Ahmad ibn Is'haq! From the creation of Adam, Allah (SWT) has never left the earth without His successor on people, and will never do so until the Day of Judgment…'

I asked: 'O son of the messenger of Allah! So who is the successor and Imam after you?'

Imam Askari (A.S) stood up immediately, and entered the house. He then returned carrying a three year old boy, whose face was filled with a halo of light. He said:

'O Ahmad! If it were not for your eminence in the eyes of Almighty Allah and His chosen people, I would not have shown you my child. His name and nickname are the same as that of Prophet Muhammad's (PBUH); and it is he who will fill the earth with justice after it has been corrupted with oppression…

By Allah (SWT)! He will live through a long occultation from which people will not survive perdition and deviation, except for those who stand firm on believing in his Imamate, and those who are honored with the opportunity to pray for haste in his reappearance."

Ahmad ibn Ishaq narrates: "the minute I asked Imam Askari (A.S): 'Will any sign or miracle appear to make me confident?' the child began speaking:

In the Name of God, the Beneficent the Merciful

Salaam-u Alaykum

Dear brothers and sisters,

The letter of Imam Khamenei to the youth in Europe and his concerns about the image of Islam in the world especially in Europe and the United States as well as the recent incidents in the Middle East have convinced us to establish an English speaking Community trying to reveal the true essence and nature of Islam.

To accomplish this decision we will try to fulfill the following activities and subjects through this channel Insha'Allah:

1. Issues related to Mahdism

2. Velayat Faghih

3. Women rights

4. Islamic Revolution (new insights)

5. Islamic life style

6. Islamic parenting

7. True vs. fake Shiites and Sunnis

8. Reviewing and criticizing the principles of science

9. Knowing about the thoughts of Imam Khomeini and Imam Khamenei

10. and introducing useful books regarding the mentioned subjects and etc.

Book Introduction (1) 

*PALESTINE (The Most Important Problem of the Islamic World)

 

We would like to introduce as a first post Ayatollah Khamenei's book that Netanyahu fears most.

The book is actually a collection of Ayatollah Khamenei’s speeches that has been reprinted in several editions in recent years. The third Persian edition, published in 2012, came with the cover Netanyahu displayed on Thursday, as can be seen on Ayatollah Khamenei’s website. 

By introducing the book Netanyahu actually tried to make the world familiar with Iranian view of Israel.

Ayatollah Khamenei:

The Islamic Republic does not oppress and does not accept oppression. We do not oppress anyone and we do not allow anyone to oppress us. if someone wants to transgress the rights of the people of Iran and the Islamic Republic of Iran, we will behave towards them in a firm way. Thankfully, the capability to do so exists. The Iranian nation is a powerful nation and the Islamic Republic is an everlasting and well-established power.

The Muslims are considered brothers, so Make peace and agreement between Your brothers; and fear from the disobedience of Allah's Commands That you may receive Mercy. (Quran, Sura 49, Verse 10)

إنما المؤمنون أخوة فاصلحوا بین أخویکم واتقوا الله لعلکم ترحمون (سوره الحجرات آیه 10) 

Ayatollah Khamenei:

Our opposition to negotiation with US has a reason; the Islamic Republic's talk with US means infiltration. They want to pave the way for imposition. During nuclear talks, they seized any opportunity to infiltrate; thanks to God, Iranian side was vigilant, yet they gained opportunities to act against our national interests. Negotiation with US is forbidden as it bears

innumerous disadvantages and no benefit.
